MEDICAL
Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Medical Treatments
In early 2024, The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) enforced
legislation to govern strict advertising for medical aesthetic treatments.
LAB aesthetics are no longer able to use specific medical product names
or other descriptive terms related to prescription based 'medical aesthetic'
or 'medical management' treatment options.
(Most cosmetic medicine contains prescription only substances/Schedule 4 medications).
While we may not mention prescription medication on social platforms,
we can most certainly still discuss these many products and procedures
in great detail during a consultation. Your private consultation will allow us
to perform an individualised assessment, give you the opportunity to view
'before and after' photos where desired, discuss risks and benefits to
suitable treatment options for informed consent. Together we can
develop a safe treatment plan according to your budget and concerns.
